The Essential Oils Desk Reference, 4th Edition Listing for Essential Oil Blends
A sample page of the information on aromatherapy blends
While the Essential Oils Desk Reference, 4th Edition has detailed information on essential oil blends and how to use them in its Personal Usage Reference, sometimes it's very helpful to have more detailed information on individual aromatherapy blends. The Desk Reference gives you this information, as well.
In its section on Blends, you will find:
- A description of the purpose behind Gary Young's formulation of each of the Young Living Essential Oils blends,
- A listing of all the single oils and, when applicable, the carrier oil(s) found in the blend,
- A description of the therapeutic benefits of each of the single oils in the blend, and
- The basic applications of the oil blend.
All of this is good information, and should enhance your use of the oils. However, this section is not a replacement for the Personal Usage Reference, since each of the essential oil blends has a much wider range of uses than listed in this section. Still, sometimes it's very nice to know what is in each blend, and the scope of what it can be used for — all in one place.
