More and more people today are finding that aromatherapy is a vital addition to their natural health and wellness regimen. If you're pursuing your dream of feeling good, looking great and living a healthier life — and doing it naturally — then join those who are discovering that the use of therapeutic-grade essential oils offers amazing benefits toward that goal.
Aromatherapy is a lot more than just the smell.
Released in November of 2007 and updated for the 2009 printing, the Essential Oils Desk Reference, 4th Edition is the most up-to-date reference on essential oils and aromatherapy anywhere.
"But, which oils should I buy?" or "Now that I have the oils, what am I to do with them?"
The answers to these — and many other — questions lie in the Essential Oils Desk Reference, 4th Edition. Finally, in a single volume, you have easy-to-access information that puts practical, real-life aromatherapy — and other natural health information — at your fingertips. No more guessing in the nitty-gritty of applying your essential oils, or wondering if there's an application for your particular need.
But, more than just how to use the oils, the Desk Reference contains several cleansing protocols, information on liver health and pH balance, discussions of various health issues and longevity/anti-aging therapies. There's even a completely new, 26-page chapter on wolfberries, dealing with the history and science behind the NingXia wolfberry.
This truly is a total health, whole-life reference.
The Essential Oils Desk Reference, 4th Edition:
This latest edition of the Essential Oils Desk Reference truly is the definitive guide to the safe and effective use of therapeutic-grade essential oils in medicinal aromatherapy. Based on the latest scientific research available, it's the most complete and reliable source of information available in the English language. Dozens of new cross reference headings have been added, making this an invaluable guide you won't want to be without.
Bigger and better than ever, the Desk Reference, 4th Edition includes lots of exciting updates, with over a dozen new products and updated application information, including the new "First Recommendations" headings that list the best 1-5 oils/products to start with (you're not left to wonder if you really need 60 different things). And, the section on RainDrop has been completely revised. Updated and expanded, it now includes 16 new instructional photographs that make the "how to" of this amazing aromatherapy application clearer than ever before.
The 4th Edition is also more graphically appealing. With a new color format, nearly 200 color photos and illustrations have been added, making it a more enjoyable reference to use. Personally, I find that the addition of color makes locating information even easier. Headings and side-bars stand out better.
You've really got to see this. Even if you have a previous edition of the Desk Reference, this one would be well worth the price to buy.

(Note: I see the fact that the Desk Reference is a Young Living-specific reference to be its one major shortcoming. I strongly recommend against Young Living products, so having so much (but, by no means all) of this information dependent upon the Young Living product line diminishes the value of the reference, to some degree. For those who are new to aromatherapy, I would encourage you to purchase Modern Essentials, instead.
The product of many years of research and practical experience with the oils, the Desk Reference is clearly the ultimate information source on aromatherapy and the medicinal use of therapeutic-grade essential oils. It puts into your hands a thorough overview of essential oils and their amazing potential to take your health to a whole new level.
