Essential Oils & Reflexology: A powerful combination for natural health
Enhancing the healing response from this ancient practice with aromatic oils

As a reflexologist, I use therapeutic-grade essential oils all the time in my practice. I use either singles oils or oil blends, depending on the specific situation.
I find my clients respond much more quickly to the reflexology session when I couple it with the use of essential oils. Most of my clients love them, and would not choose to be without them.
Taking reflexology to another level
While the effectiveness of reflexology can't be denied by anyone who has had the pleasure of the experience, there are some negatives associated with its use.
- Because of the pressure used to perform this technique, blood flow is cut off to the tissues, and there is some cell death.
- There can be bruising of the tissues.
While these aren't a huge issues, if you experience tenderness in the points that have been worked, you might be interested in a kinder, gentler way. It's called the Vita-Flex Technique.
With Vita-Flex, instead of applying firm pressure to a point, a gentle rolling motion is used. Energy is fired into the point, and then sealed off; and works especially well with therapeutic-grade essential oils.
You can find information on the Vita-Flex Technique in the Essential Oils Desk Reference, the Integrative Medical Guide, the RainDrop Technique video, and for possibly the best video demonstration, in the Science & Application of Essential Oils video.
Take a look. Amazing things are awaiting you.
